Katya Brewington
Katya Brewington, M.Ed., LPC/MHSP/S, NCC, ACS, is the CEO and founder of Therabiz, LLC and CEO and founder of Cedar Tree Wellness Center. Katya holds a Master’s degree in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider/Approved Supervisor in Tennessee, National Certified Counselor, and Approved Clinical Supervisor. With over 20 years of experience as a therapist and over 16 years as a supervisor (clinical, internship, and licensure), Katya has a passion for helping new and established clinicians grow by providing clinical consultations, continued education trainings, and clinical/licensure supervision. She has worked in nonprofits, private practice, and group practice settings. Katya has presented at conferences on all things private practice as well as participated in career events and panel discussions on career development at local universities. Katya’s public speaking engagements have spanned a variety of mental health topics to increase the public awareness of mental health and help decrease the stigma. Katya’s clinical practice has specialized primarily in relationship/marital and trauma work. She is skilled in CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, EFT, mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused therapy which she has utilized with individuals, couples, and families. Katya is a member of the American Counseling Association, Tennessee Counseling Association, Tennessee Mental Health Counselors Association, and Chi Sigma Iota, an international honor society for students, professional counselors and counselor educators. In her previous career Katya was a college professor and translator.

 

Aimee Isenberg
Aimee Isenberg, PhD, LPC/MHSP/S provides continued education trainings, clinical consultation, and licensure supervision at TheraBiz, LLC. Aimee earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and a PhD from Trevecca Nazarene University in Clinical Counseling: Supervision and Education. She is also a Tennessee approved licensure supervisor for those pursuing their LPC or LPC/MHSP. Aimee has been providing therapeutic services since 2007 and licensure supervision since 2022. In addition to her work at TheraBiz, LLC, Aimee sees clients at a group practice, and is a full-time assistant professor in a local Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. In her clinical work Aimee enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families but has a special passion for working with adolescents and their caregivers. Aimee has experience working with a variety of clinical concerns including relational issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, career transitions, and parenting needs. Aimee most often utilizes the following approaches in session: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) and is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). In her free time, Aimee loves spending time with her husband, son, and dog, going on dinner dates with friends, exploring new places, and finding effective ways to keep her life organized.
